Dive into the world of accessible Physics for all ages! Explore the concepts of weight, balance, forces, machines, work, action, speed and acceleration! Rediscover and  relive the discoveries of Newton and other titans of the physical sciences.

Dates: Running throughout July and Early August! RSVP below for dates and times. We offer a variety of days and times for each workshop at each level.‍

Cost: FREE!‍

Options: Choose all the dates that could work, and we will invite you to join us once we have enough interested students to run it! ‍

Playground Physics [Grades K – 2]: See how physics works on slides, swings, see-saws and other playground items! Use your imagination to have the most fun at the park!‍

Simple Machines [Grades 3 – 4]: Explore levers, balance points, fulcrums and gears! Design a machine that will help in your task!‍

Forces, Work and Action [Grades 5 – 6]: Discover the relationship between gravity, weight, particles and planetary motion! Plan a trip to another planet!

Newtonian Motion [Grades 7 – 8]: Rediscover Newton’s laws of motion and explore the formulas that pop out! Calculate the forces required to travel into space!

^{Notes: Each workshop of the same name will be run in a similar fashion at each time slot. Attending each unique workshop only once is recommended. Older students may enjoy coming to workshops one level down from their current grade, however may lack the skills to appreciate going up one level.}
