EMC is excited to launch a new series of online Applied Math workshops this summer!

In these classes, we will take real life situations, hobbies, careers, or interests, and show students how it relates to the math skills they have right now.

Together, we will dive into the world of accessible Physics for all ages and explore the concepts of weight, balance, forces, machines, work, action, speed, and acceleration! We will rediscover and relive the discoveries of Newton and other titans of the physical sciences.

Our online workshops take place with small groups of like-minded students. The first 45 minutes are a mini-lesson where students are issued challenges and tackle a real life task. The final 15 minutes, the students swap with their parent/guardian to ask questions about EMC, and learn about what other topics are on their way.
