Classes are interactive and thoughtfully structured, blending timed practice, independent work, and guided discussion.
What Students Will Practice
Students work with competition-style problems beyond standard classroom math, focusing on recognizing patterns, choosing efficient approaches, and clearly explaining reasoning.
- Simplifying expressions, power laws, and factoring
- Geometric reasoning and spatial thinking
- Counting, probability, and logical reasoning
- Patterns, sequences, and series
Why Start in Summer
Summer gives students time to build problem-solving habits before the school year gets busy.
They can practice competition-style thinking without added pressure and start the season more confident and prepared.
About the AMC 8
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute math competition that builds problem-solving and analytical thinking across core middle school topics, presented in creative and non-routine ways.
The AMC 8 is administered through official test centers, typically schools or approved organizations. Families should arrange participation separately through an official AMC test center.
